Why We Have a Birthday Sale (And Why Karmen Is Turning 50 Again)

Every year, right around Karmen's birthday, our clients know what's coming. The messages pour in, the excitement builds, and the A Line team braces for one of our favorite, most chaotic weeks of the year. But if you've ever wondered how this tradition actually started, we're here to tell the whole story.

When Karmen turned 35, she had what she thought was a brilliant idea. Thirty five percent off, in honor of her 35th birthday. It was playful, it was generous, and it felt like the perfect way to celebrate with the clients who had poured so much love into this boutique. So she did it. And then she did it again at 36. And 37. And just like that, the birthday sale became one of the most anticipated events on the A Line calendar.

Fast forward to this year, and Karmen is turning 50. Which means, by the rules she set for herself over a decade ago, we should be running a 50 percent off sale. And we are, because a tradition is a tradition and Karmen is a woman of her word, even when that word is expensive.
